TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
Delivery of materials and decoration of the stand must be realized according to the assembling plan.
The Organizer is responsible for the fire safety and the safety of stands. It’s obligatory to inform the Organizer about all cases of usage of the open flame, welding, cutting, fusing, soldering. These works require a special permit.
The Organizer has the right not to accept a Participant if the product concept contradicts the concept of the festival.
The Organizer’s tasks are limited to the installation of a stand and furniture ordered by a Participant in an application form. Any other equipment must be provided by the Participant himself or ordered beforehand, subject to a preliminary agreement with the Organizer.
All technical directions put by the Organizer, and also the information discussed in the correspondence between the Organizer and the Participants, as regards preparation and realization of the event, must be taken into account.
Materials are stored at Design Act warehouse. The Organizers are not responsible for the materials that were not provided for warehousing. The Participants will be informed about the warehouse’s open hours after a signing of a contract.
During the exhibition period and also at assembling and disassembling periods the Participant must secure a presence of an employee at the stand, because the Participant holds personal responsibility for the safety of his property in the named periods.
It’s strictly prohibited to disassemble a stand before the end of the exhibition period. In case of violation of this rule the Organizer has the right to demand the compensation paid.
After the signing of the contract the Participant automatically gives his agreement for publishing of his materials and their unlimited usage by “DA” Ltd. in media, documentation, and presentations. Design Act has the right to make changes in the texts of articles by the Participants in the exhibition catalogue and other media sources, e.g., at Design Act web site. The Participants guarantee that the materials they provide do not violate the rights of the third parties.
To secure an adequate appearance of the article about the Participant in the DA catalogue, the information and the pictures must be provided to the curator of Design Market no later than 25.08.2011. If any materials are provided after 25.08.2011, Design Act has the right to use the information from the application form of from the last year materials. Design Act is not responsible for the accuracy of the information.
The stands are paid for via money transfer to “DA” Ltd. settlement account after the signing of the contract.
