Yksi designers approach a thing they should develop their skills and find new sources of inspiration. For example, attending trade fairs and exhibitions both at home and abroad, traveling, studying at art schools, taking part in the selection committees and organizing events, seminars and exhibitions.
Yksi was one of the founding fathers of the Dutch Design Week and Designhuis (House Design) in Eindhoven, and organized presentation of all the Netherlands and abroad, for example in Milan (Italy), Shanghai (China), Bratislava (Slovakia), Tallinn (Estonia), Moscow (Russia).

Object: Scoubidou (Lanyard, Scoubi, Scoobie, Boondoggl, или Gimp) – is a type of wickerwork. In the late 50s France was literally obsessed with it, and now this interest is not lost. The name "Scoubidou" came from the late French singer Sacha Distel, it was the name of his first hit in 1958.
Most knots of “skubidu” were originally used for knitting bark, and the result of creativity reminiscent of traditional corn dolls and macramé in many ways.
