A group of the students who have studied only for a year of Industrial Design in Eindhoven and already have a great success of their first design project «Shadow wall».

The shadows wall consists of 200 "stars", these smart lights can be placed on any surface, flat or embossed, outside and indoors. Typically, the grid’s size is 20x10m. "Stars" can be hung or mounted on the surface. They can be powered from the network or while working offline. "Stars" are highlighted by proprietary LED PAR, placed in front of an interactive surface.
Wall of shadows evolve with advances in solid state physics. Diodes are so small that they can illuminate previously inaccessible corners, and so smart that they can respond to external events. This wall will show you how even slight movements can influence. In response to light environment, the diodes turn on and off by the "movement" of shadows.
And can you reach the stars? Do you want to feel like a giant?
