Guido Ooms was born in 1974 and in 2000 was graduated from the Academy of Design in Eindhoven. After working freelance designer for various companies, he decided to found his own studio - OOOMS. And after its running Guido also began teaching design at the School of the Arts in Utrecht.

Karin van Lieshout was born also in 1974, and in 2001 was graduated from the Academy of Design in Eindhoven, Karen also worked in many renowned European design studios and then decided to join her forces with Guido.

Who said that eco-technologies can serve only to people? OOOMS comes up with a birdhouse and the solar panel on its roof. The sun charges the built-in battery, and it starts to glow transparent perch in the darkness. The "late dinner" for the birds flies to it and the bird can only poke his head out and wait for the whirr.
