In 2011, Samsung company is the General Partner of DESIGN ACT. Thin and light tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 represents the most innovative solutions in mobile devices and it's another technological breakthrough of the Festival.
The world-famous exhibition Liberation of Light (Netherlands) will be the highlight of DESIGN ACT. Thanks to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Festival visitors will see new light sources - interactive and totally changing the idea of light. Light objects, created by leading European designers, will come together under one dome. Among them: life and poetic installation of Hanne-Louise Johannesen and Michel Guglielmi - evening dress, which lights depending on the level of CO2 in the air, like the lights of the city at night; light wall, all-weather chandelier, a solar-powered bag and many others of unexpected light. The authors of «Liberation of Light» will talk about technology and creation of the exhibition on September 10th at Design Forum.
