The "courage for ruptures" is the motto of the young East German fashion designer Romy Kraft. After having completed her studies, she set up a studio specialising in gaiters and designing inhouse-collections and accessories.

The style of her previous collections would be best described as "elegant trash". While this may sound paradox at first, it reveals its' sensuality in details on the second look: a multi-faceted design palette of restrained elegance, sporty to extravagant, whimsical and courageous.

Romy Kraft not only experiments with different material and cuts, she always finds new food for thought by delving into history, different cultures and backgrounds. Her skill to combine sensitive twins is paired with a subtle material fetishism, so that fashion with visual and haptic stimuli is created.
