The source of inspiration behind Anni Brandt design is the nature of the outer archipelago of Åland Islands, an autonomous, demilitarised, Swedish-speaking region of Finland. One can admire this influence for
example in the lace like glass art work, Pate de Were.
Anni Brandt´s book on the importance of community Rackarebajsarns Huffle Puff receives the Åland Islands Government of Åland literature scholarship at 2010. As a result, Anni Brandt lives in the only inhabited museum in Finland.
