Ivan Danube is a farmer, and he has to get up early to feed the pigs, to check accounts, to do his tractor and to chop the meat, which he drives on the market to sell in his van. This is the film-Experiment, film-mosaic and film of collective authorship - the first joint project of documentary filmmakers Alexander Rastorguev and Paul Kostomarov. The work was conducted one and a half years on it. To find the characters, the directors viewed a lot of people in Rostov-on-Don. They gave them small cameras and the task - to film a sincere movie of themselves. Finally they identified 50 of the most talented authors from the received material - captured by hand and unprofessional. The result was one of the best experimental movie of last time - this is a document of modern Russian life.

The film begins as a stylization of operational police shooting. Police captain films his everyday work, family and adventures. One day he forgets the camera in the glove box of the car. It is robbed. Thus the camera "goes to the people" and falls into the hands of three teenagers.

Young people from the working margin receive a funny new toy. They shoot their lives, empty talks, meaningless work, hangings out in the district, dates and quarrels with the girls. Gradually the main theme of their young lives comes through to the foreground - it's love. Cynicism and infantilism of youth are faced with a real and important expression of life and the world of heroes upsides down.
